Alicia Langlois (she/her)
Registered Social Worker
I am a Registered Social Worker who holds a Master of Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University. Additionally, I also hold an Honours Bachelor of Sociology, with a Minor in Women and Gender Studies from Brock University. I have eight years of experience working closely with children, youth and their families.
I work from a strengths-based perspective and believe that we all have the ability to grow and heal. My approach is founded on creating a space of warmth, openness and non-judgment. I strive to create an environment where you feel comfortable and supported to be true to who you are.
My specialty has been supporting children, youth and families and this work is grounded in attachment theory and uses a trauma-informed lens in providing treatment through drawing upon techniques from a variety of modalities.
In my free time, some of my personal interests include training for my next running marathon, watching the newest tv show on Netflix and spending time with my animals.
It takes incredible strength to reach out, I look forward to working with you on your healing journey.
